The Most Magical Place on Earth!!!

Mommy and Grace on the Carousel!
(2nd visit)

Having fun on Daddy's shoulders!

(2nd visit)

Visiting the Fort Wilderness Camp Grounds.

One tired baby!

Midday snack!

Amazed at the dancing children on the "It's a Small World" ride!

Waiting in line for the "It's a Small World" ride.

Waiting for the Tiki Birds!!

We went to the Magic Kingdom for Bryan's birthday this year. Grace got a "1st Visit" button and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day. It was such a wonderful, laid back day. This was the most enjoyable Disney visit ever. Bryan and I loved watching her reaction to the sights and sounds. She absolutely loved the Tiki Birds and was mesmerized by "It's a Small World".

We took her back this past weekend and she was even more excited to ride "It's a Small World". She was dancing and clapping. It was awesome! She and I rode Cinderella's Carousel and she thought that was pretty fun too.

We never thought Disney could be so much fun!!

Snuggle Bug

See-through helmet!!

Reading about Tigers...her favorite animal.
(She loves when Bryan wears his LSU t-shirt. She points at the tiger and roars!!)

It's been quite a while since I've updated Grace's blog. I had a few minutes this evening and wanted to journal some of her latest accomplishments. She will be a year old in a few weeks. We cannot believe how fast the time has gone by. It seems like the pregnancy was way longer than this past year. Incredible!!

Grace is not walking yet, but she does take a step or two on her own and stand whenever she can. She is an excellent crawler, so it seems she has no need to walk. She is mastering the sippy cup each day. Drinking from a bottle is very comforting to her so transitioning to a sippy cup has been an issue. Hopefully with time we can wean her from the bottle.

She is becoming very vocal too. She says "ish" for fish, "sssss" for snake, "zee" for Mazie, and "bur" for bird. She will shake her head yes and say "Mmm hmm" if you ask her a question. She has said turtle, hat, mama, Rae Rae, and Papa, but isn't very consistent with them.

The other day she fed Mazie some of her carrots and while looking at me, with her hand over the side of her high chair, she shook her head no. Then she promptly dropped the carrot. That little booger knows she is not to feed the dog, but she did it anyway. We are in a lot of trouble!!
