Halloween (2012)

Carving our pumpkin.

Halloween parade at school.

Halloween snacks before the parade.

GG came to help with the parade.  Thank goodness because RJ had a meltdown and needed to go home for a nap.

Getting ready to go Trick or Treating.

It was unusually cold on Halloween night.  Grace would have froze in her mermaid costume, so she had to wear a turtle neck to keep warm.  They both looked awesome in their outfits and had so much fun!!

Running errands on a random day in September (2012)

I love these two more than I could ever express!!

I absolutely adore Grace and her style choices!!

His smile makes my heart melt!

Where do the days go?

Every week I plan to update the blog, but time gets away from me.  The kids, the house, work, and well, life, keep getting in the way.  I'm going to make a concerted effort to do a few updates a month to get caught up. So...here's September 2012!!

We decided to take the kids to Disney and stay in a hotel for the weekend.  It was perfect to get away and focus on being with each other.  We all really needed to reconnect.

We braved the rain and took the kids to Downtown Disney to eat dinner.  They each got to pick out a special treat from the World of Disney store.  Grace got a collection of princesses and RJ picked out some Cars characters.

Saturday morning character breakfast at the hotel.  Goofy was a hit!

Grace woke up with a bit of a sore throat so she got to drink her first cup of hot tea.  She really liked it and thought she was something else drinking out of that big mug.

Pluto came for a kiss.

Mommy and Grace on It's a Small World.

RJ was fell asleep on the bus back to the hotel.

Back to Downtown Disney after a day at Magic Kingdom.  The kids really wanted to ride the choo choo.  They were having so much fun!

Smiles!!

It was all fun and games, until...

A bird pooped in Grace's foot.

Checking out the poop shoe.

This weekend really was so enjoyable.  It will be a memory I will cherish forever.
